On 8/12, join the 2nd oldest half marathon in Arizona! Presented by Kinney Construction Services, the beautiful course starts at Thorpe Park and climbs the steep urban trail onto Observatory Mesa (where astronomers discovered Pluto) and follows dirt roads with spectacular views of the San Francisco Peaks. Elevations range between 6900 ft at the start, to 7600 ft at the turn around!  ALL proceeds benefit BBBSF Mentoring Programs that provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever."
